Here is a simple 3D game I created back in 1981, based on the Arcade Game Battlezone.
Its written in Basic.

Name: B-Zone.bas

Controls are as follows:

joystick or mouse: moving joystick forward (mouse up) to move forward. back(down) to
reverse. Left and Right.

Spacebar to fire laser at enemy tanks and spaceships (round moving blobs on the screen.
They will fire at you at random. Three hits (cracked windshield) and you are toast. You
will get some new lives as you destroy more tanks.

"M" key to initiate temporary shields (for a few seconds) you only get to do this 5 times.

Upper left corner of the screen is the overhead radar. You can track the enemy tanks
(field of view is the V shape where you are positioned at the base of the V).

The prism you will see in the battlefield is there to protect you, if you move to position
it in front of your sights, the enemy tank cannot hit you.

The dots along the bottom are your ammo. As you run low, an ammo depot will appear in the
battlefield. position your sights on the ammo depot to replenish.

You will also see two dots in the upper right corner. Top dot will disappear when you have
no "lives" left. bottom dot will disappear when you have no more temporary shields left.

Game play is: one tank in the battle field until you destroy it 10 times, then a larger
super tank will appear. Spaceship comes later.

Enjoy (remember I wrote this as a teenager so its slow and rough)
